Volunteer Opportunities

Survivors Healing Center views volunteering as an opportunity to engage with community members in a mutually beneficial relationship. Volunteers contribute to our agency by performing a variety of tasks that enable us to accomplish a broader range of goals. In exchange, we seek to teach new skills and build upon existing skills that volunteers can apply to their personal and professional lives.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Board Member - Join the Board of Directors. Assist with organizational oversight, strategic planning, fundraising, etc. Board meets monthly and members are expected to volunteer some extra time between meetings. Leadership experience, strong written and verbal communication skills preferred. Experience with fundraising for non-profits extremely helpful.

Fund Development Assistant - Research funding possibilities, help with various fundraising tasks, assist in the preparation of grant proposals. Basic office and computer skills required.

Office/Administrative Assistant - Assist with general office work including but not limited to, mailing, filing, taking down messages, and organizing.

Event Coordination Assistant - Art of Healing is an event celebrating artistic expression as part of the healing process of adult survivors of child sexual abuse and their allies. Office and computer skills experience required.
